This is American Targhee wool blended with silk and bamboo to give it extra lustre. When you dye this wool it will come out in different hues as the bamboo and silk will take the dye at a different rate than the wool. It is easy to spin roving for the experienced spinner or the beginner. Yes it will felt too.
This wool is very white, the photo does not do it justice.
