Silk Clouds are 100% Silk. I have some that have a bit of Soft Silk or sari silk in them for texture and a variety of color. Others are just 100% Tussah silk. The noils are what give the silk batts their texture and character. Each batt weighs 26-28 grams or about 1 ounce..
I hope you enjoy spinning these batts into yarn as much as I do. I also like to ply the silk on one ply of wool or alpaca or other yarn for a unique yarn.
Remember no two silk Clouds are exactly alike as the colors of the sari silk will vary slightly from batt to batt. The price is for one Silk Cloud.
